When the disobedient get good

But those who deny Our signs - We will progressively lead them [to destruction] from where they do not know.

[Qur'aan 7:182]

So when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We opened to them the doors of every [good] thing until, when they rejoiced in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were [then] in despair.

[Qur'aan 6:44]

When you see that Allaah gives a slave that which he loves of the world despite his (i.e. the slave's) disobedience, then that is only 'istidraaj.

Sheikh al-Albaani considered the chain of narrators of this narration to be strong.

al-Suyuuti considered the narration to be Hasan

When you disobey Allaah and get what you love of this world, consider yourself in trouble. 

You are being set up for utter destruction.

Repent, give up your disobedient ways, and return to Allaah's obedience. Do not let the blessings you keep getting deceive you into thinking all is good.
