The secret to a good life

The secret to some things is so simple. We search all over the place, but the secret is right there in front of us. I guess if we were not distracted by searching for it, the secret would not really be a secret.

 

The secret to a good life is in the Qur'aan. You do not have to go to anyone special. You do not need to have someone tell you a special duaa. If you want to have a good life, you simply have to be a believer, do good deeds by following the Commands of Allaah, and stay clear of what He has forbidden.

 

 

  • Believe in Him.
  • Follow His Commands
  • Avoid what He has forbidden
  • Make abundant dhikr of Him.

 

That is it. Apply it and reap the benefits of a good life.


Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.

[Qur'aan 16:97]


And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind."

[Qur'aan 20:124]
