Why Muslims are weak
Shaykh-ul-Islām ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:
"If the Muslims are weak and their enemies have gained an upper hand against them, then this is a result of their sins and errors. (Whether it is by their neglectfulness in establishing obligatory matters both inwardly (having the correct belief) and/or outwardly ie Salah, Sawm, Zakah)

Why you are sad
You are sad because of your sins [1]. Sadness is a form of distress, and you are subject to distress when you are guilty of sins or when your good deeds are not enough to help you reach the rank destined for you in Paradise. Ask forgiveness for your sins. Increase your good deeds, and watch the weather inside of you change.
Narrated Muhammad ibn Khalid as-Sulami on his father's authority who said his grandfather, who was a Companion of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) say: When Allah has previously decreed for a servant a rank which he has not attained by his action, He afflicts him in his body, or his property or his children. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Nufail added in his version: "He then enables him to endure that." The agreed version goes: "So that He may bring him to the rank previously decreed from him by Allah."

How to find complete happiness
“The heart will never find complete happiness except by loving Allaah.”
Ibn Taymiyyah’s Fatawa (v. 28, p. 32)
Allaah will not forgive so and so
Do not say to any sinner Allaah will not forgive you - February 25, 2016
Do not say to a sinner Allaah will not forgive you. Grave error to do so. His sins will be forgiven, and your deeds will go to waste. Remember, no matter how pious you are and how many sins someone else indulges in, you cannot say that he will not be forgiven. [1]
Do not break ties of kinship
A sin for which one gets punished in this world as well as the next is when one breaks the ties of kinship. Do not do it. [2]
How to get Allaah to love you
When tested be patient; when given be thankful. Allaah will love you.
MuTarrif bin Abd Allaah bin al-shikhkhiir used to say:
Indeed, the most loved of Allaah's slaves to Allaah is the patient, thankful one who when tested remains patient and when is given is thankful.
When helping someone
Allah has forbidden us, in the Qur'aan, from assisting one another in sin. Keep this in mind when you are about to help someone with something.

Muslims are brothers
Remember, Muslims are brothers
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allah that you may receive mercy.
[Qur'aan 49:10]
So, when there is enmity between you and your brother, remind yourself of the following Verse:
And not equal are the good deed and the bad. Repel [evil] by that [deed] which is better; and thereupon the one whom between you and him is enmity [will become] as though he was a devoted friend.
[Qur'aan 41:34]

The Qur'aan is guidance for those who have Taqwaa
If you want guidance from the Qur'aan have Taqwaa; be from among the Muttaquun. Allaah says in the Qur'aan:
This is the Book (the Quran), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaquun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
[Qur'aan 2:2]
The Greatest Suurah in the Qur'aan
Soorah Al-Faatiha is the greatest Suurah in the Qur'aan. It is also called Al-Sab' Al-Mathaani [the seven oft repeated Verses].
Truth is not recognized by men
The truth is not recognized by men. Men are recognized by the truth. Whoever brings the truth, young or old, then it will be accepted from him. And the truth is that which is in accordance with the Qur'aan and Sunnah of His Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam).
