Contemplate in the creation of Allaah

Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

[Qur'aan 3:191]

Narrated `Imran bin Husain (may Allaah be pleased with him) said I had piles so I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the prayer. He said, "Pray while standing and if you can't, pray while sitting and if you cannot do even that, then pray Lying on your side."

[Sahih al-Bukhaari Hadith No. 1117]

Bishr bin al-Haarith al-haafi said: Had mankind contemplated the magnificence of Allaah, they would not have disobeyed Him.

Amir ibn Abd al-Qays has been reported to have said: I have heard more than three of the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) say: The radiance or light of Imaan [faith] is contemplation.

Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz has been reported to have said: To move your tongue with the Dhikr of Allaah is good and contemplation in the blessings of Allaah is the best form of worship.
