Be guided and be a guide!

Don't you want to be guided? Do you not want to be steadfast on Diin? Do you not want to guide people?

Only Allaah guides. Tawfiiq to do good deeds is only from Allaah. You cannot make someone do good deeds. You can guide people by showing them the correct path. You can guide in that sense.

Here is a dua which will keep you steadfast. Allaah will guide you. He will make you a guide to help people to the correct path!

O Allaah make me steadfast on Diin and make me guided and one who guides

The dua can be made in English. You do not have to make dua in Arabic. It is good if you make dua in Arabic, but it is not a must like prayer which must be in Arabic.

If you would like to make it in Arabic then use the following:

اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي وَاجْعَلْنِي هَادِياً مَهْدِيَّاً

Allaahumma thab bit nii waj 'alnii haadi yam mahdiyaa
